A finaloption project about which he says:
“And now for something REALLY special.  I’m going to have a hard time topping this one for a good long while, methinks. This is the 1.85:1 Widescreen Director’s edition of this awesomely cheesy 1995 sci-fi action gem featuring Nicole Eggert vs. Richard Grieco, Tom Savini, and Bruce Campbell (among many other cameos in Grieco’s punk/thug gang). Taken from the special and very rare Laserdisc which contained the latterboxed widescreen movie, plus never-before-released-anywhere-else Audio Commentary track with Director Robert Kurtzman, Associate Producer John Esposito, and Conceptual/Storyboard artist John Bisson.  And there’s yet more: included is a special 15-minute “Making Of” featurette that has also never before been released anywhere else.  Whew! Plus plus plus even if you were lucky enough to get your hands on this special Director’s edition Laserdisc of the movie (like I was), you’d be supremely disappointed to discover that the Laserdisc contained ONLY the Audio Commentary track which utilized both Stereo channels.  That’s right, there was NO audio for the movie itself!!!!  So here for the first time anywhere in any format what-so-friggin’-ever, is the widescreen director’s edition with the original English Audio from the DVD release synched back in.  So you can choose between watching the film in its intended ratio, or listening to the commentary (which is very good commentary, btw, this was still early on in the commentary concept and it hadn’t been overused and over-standardized to death).  Plus the special “Making of” stuff.  Yee.  Goddamn.  Haw. So enjoy this, it wasn’t easy to put together – it took me three solid weeks to get all the various pieces to synch and work together right and proper. Now one bit of bad-ish news: the “Widescreen” is one of those where the film was originally filmed “Open Matte”, so it’s LESS picture information than the fullscreen DVD.  Plus the Laserdisc picture quality is nowhere near as cleaned up and pretty as that fullscreen DVD.  However, according to the director, this widescreen version is the intended presentation.  When they shot the film, they meant for the picture to be cut to this theatrical-style ratio.  So the fullscreen edition is just a lot of extra image that serves no purpose and in fact detracts from the proper make up of each shot.  Or so Mr. Director say.“

“A murdered police officer is brought back to life by a cold-hearted scientist to serve as “The Demolitionist”, the ultimate crime-fighting weapon in a city overrun by criminals and internal corruption.” [imdb]
