An asano project, enhancing the Spanish retail release with an additional English dub.

Jorge Rivero (Spain’s answer to Tom Selleck) stars as a long distance fruit lorry driver that has to run the gauntlet of French unionists everytime he trucks a load across the border. Plus he’s got a local hit squad after him because he used to be in “the organisation” but took the amnesty and is now trying to go straight. When his missus tells him she’s got a burrito in the oven he decides it’s time to retire from all this high risk shit and go live in Germany, so he bundles her into his truck for ONE LAST JOB. So does Jorge put the pedal to the metal on his final dangerous journey through France? Especially since he’s got his pregnant wife with him? Hell no! He’s gonna take his sweet time; stop off for a slap up meal at a French diner and then he’s gonna have a nooner with his wife in the back of the cab and maybe a fucking nap too! Of course the locals get a hold of him and trash his fruit and give Jorge a beatdown, going the extra mile they also burn his lorry unwittingly killing his wife and unborn child. Well these guys fucked with the wrong fruitman cos Jorge used to specialize in explosives for “the organisation” – his code name was Killing Machine and now he’s ready to start killing once again, y’know, like a machine……… This one takes itself a little more seriously than it’s spaghetti action counterparts but it is nevertheless a great little dumbass spanish 80’s action flick. Lee Van Cleef sneers and eyefucks everyone in sight as the lawyer(?) in charge of the murderous unionists and the ever awkward Margaux Hemingway rasps her way through her stilted dialogue as Jorge’s ex partner; code name Rope Dancer(!) to hilarious effect. Also this has a great cheesy theme tune song; Liza sung by Bobby Mandrell. I tried to find a video of the song on youtube but unfortunately Bobby Mandrell is also the name of a popular drag queen from Hull.
